LEARNING BY PLAYING

Artificial intelligence and gaming connect knowledge with action for a more sustainable world.

At FAIRPLAY, we learn that every choice matters, from how a product is produced and reaches our plate, to how we store it and whether we ultimately use it or throw it away. Through activities, quizzes, and an educational game, students and adults alike become familiar with concepts such as Fair Trade, Healthy Nutrition, Food Safety and Food Waste Reduction in a simple and understandable way.
We want learning to feel like an experience—one that gets people thinking, encourages participation, and shows that small changes in our everyday lives can make a big difference.

The 4 Pillars of FAIRPLAY

Four topics connected to everyday life — from what we buy to what we throw away.

Fair Trade

Learn how everyday choices can support fair working conditions and fair pay.

  • What does a “fair price” mean?
  • How do I recognise responsible practices?
  • Examples: cocoa, coffee, bananas.

Nutrition

Learn how to build balanced choices and “read” what you eat.

  • Balanced plate & portions.
  • Food labels in simple steps.
  • Smart choices at the supermarket.

Food Safety

Learn how to store, handle, and consume food safely.

  • Temperatures & proper storage.
  • Dates, hygiene rules.
  • Reducing risks in the kitchen.

Food Waste

Learn how to plan meals and use what you have, so you throw away less.

  • Shopping list & weekly plan.
  • Ideas for leftovers.
  • Small changes with big impact.

Quiz

Quick mini-quizzes based on the 4 FAIRPLAY pillars — learn by playing!

Fair Trade

Test your knowledge about fair labels, responsible choices, and how your purchase supports people and communities.

Nutrition

Quick questions on balanced meals, smart label reading, and simple habits that help you feel better every day.

Food Safety

Learn the basics of safe storage, hygiene, and cooking—small steps that reduce risks in the kitchen.

Food Waste

See how planning, proper storage, and creative leftovers can cut waste and make a real difference.

What will you do in the game?

  • Choose products and see how they affect “Fairness”, “Health”, “Safety”, and “Waste”.
  • Make decisions and earn points based on your choices.
